Terms of Service

Effective July 17, 2026

These terms are a plain-language agreement between you and BizOps Pilot. By creating an account you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, ask before you rely on it.

1. The service

BizOps Pilot lets you build and run automations ("Pilots") triggered manually, by webhook, on a schedule, or by inbound email, connected to your own third-party accounts and keys.

2. Beta status and paid plans

The service is currently in beta. The beta (free) tier is free of charge and features may change. Pro and Founding are optional paid upgrades already available today: Pro is a flat monthly price, and Founding is a one-time lifetime plan described in section 8. Choosing a paid plan is up to you; the beta tier stays free, and we will give clear notice before that ever changes. Despite our testing, defects can occur.

3. Unlimited runs and fair use

Plans do not meter your runs and your automations are never stopped for billing reasons. To keep that promise sustainable for everyone, structural limits apply: webhook deliveries are limited per Pilot per minute and in aggregate per account, scheduled Pilots run at most every 5 minutes, and heavy bursts are queued fairly against your own earlier work rather than blocking other customers. Hitting a limit delays delivery briefly; it never cancels your automations. A few actions that cost us money on your behalf, like AI-assisted Pilot creation and API requests, also have generous per-account rate limits; hitting one asks you to retry shortly and never touches your running automations. Deliberate attempts to abuse these limits are a violation of these terms.

4. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your password and connected credentials secure.
  • One person per account. You must provide a real email address you control.
  • You can delete your account at any time from the Account page; deletion is immediate and permanent. If you have an active Pro subscription you must cancel it in the billing portal first, so we never keep charging a card with no account behind it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or violate anti-spam laws;
  • break the terms of the third-party services you connect (Slack, email providers, APIs, AI providers);
  • process data you have no right to process, or violate anyone's privacy rights;
  • probe, overload, or attack the service or other users' automations;
  • do anything illegal in your jurisdiction.

We may suspend accounts that violate this section, with notice where practical.

6. Your content and credentials

Your Pilots, workflows, and data remain yours. You grant us only the rights needed to run them as configured. Connected credentials are encrypted at rest, used solely to execute your steps, and the locally stored copy is deleted when you disconnect them or delete your account; we also make a best-effort attempt to revoke the underlying third-party grant where the provider supports it, though that is not guaranteed for every connector. You can export any Pilot as JSON at any time; there is no lock-in.

7. Bring-your-own keys

When you connect your own API keys (for example an Anthropic key), usage under those keys is billed to you by the provider under their terms. We add no markup and take no responsibility for provider pricing or availability.

8. Founding membership (lifetime plan)

A Founding seat is a one-time payment that gives you the Pro plan for the lifetime of the service, capped at 300 seats. Plainly, so there are no surprises later:

  • "Lifetime" means the lifetime of BizOps Pilot, not your lifetime. If we ever shut the service down, a Founding seat ends with it. We are a small company; you should weigh that before buying.
  • It covers the Pro plan as it evolves, including features we add to Pro later. It does not entitle you to a different, higher tier if we introduce one.
  • The same fair-use limits in section 3 apply. There is no run meter and we will not invoice you for usage, ever.
  • It is tied to one account and is not transferable or resellable.
  • The AI itself still runs on your own API key and is billed to you by that provider (section 7). A Founding seat covers the platform, not your model usage.

If we shut the service down within 12 months of your purchase, we will refund your Founding payment in full. After 12 months it is non-refundable. You can export every Pilot as JSON at any time (section 6), so your work outlives the seat either way.

9. Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" during beta, without warranties of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Automations depend on third-party services we do not control; a failure in a connected service is outside our responsibility. Do not use the service as the sole safeguard for anything where failure would cause serious harm.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (during the free beta, that amount is zero). We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data caused by third-party services.

11. Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time, subject to the Pro subscription condition in section 4. We can suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give at least 30 days notice so you can export your Pilots.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. For material changes we will update the effective date and notify account holders by email before the changes apply. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
